Westboro Baptist Church and the Death of Founder Fred Phelps: I Hope He Likes Warm Weather

We all know these guys, Westboro Baptist Church, hatemongers under the guise of a "church." It tickled me that their webpage is "GodHatesFags," (godhatesfags.com). The name itself lends credibility to the amount of bullshit that I am sure is being cooked up behind their closed doors. I mean, really; God in all of His infinite wisdom and perfection was like, "You know what of all that I created I'll hate fags the most. I created them with love, just like I did everything else, but you know, I'm just gonna hate them above all else."

I hope those shirts are flame-resistant.

Well, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 these guys lost their founder, 84 year old Fred Phelps to natural causes. I bet he's really kicking himself in the ass about now. The thing is though, that his peoples at the WBC are moving on like the dude never existed. Apparently he said to the church members that they "needed to be nicer to one another." I guess that was the final straw for them cause they kicked his ass to the curb by excommunicating him from the church back in August of 2013

WBC founder, and newly enlightened to how fucking wrong I was via a special spot in hell, Fred Phelps.
I'm lovin' this cause the people in the pic are showing compassion for WBC's loss with a sign reading: "SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS", yet it appears that WBC doesn't care. It goes to show that what they WBC really want to do is spread hate. I can only assume that they have no idea on how to process any other emotion. What you have to realize though, is that this sign MUST have gotten through to someone(s) in WBC, who then took a look at themselves and gave some thought as to whether or not they truly represent God's view.

Westboro Baptist Hatefest Interrupted by Message of Love and Compassion

Honestly, I think that WBC would ignore the sign, because if they were to respond to it with a, "Thank you," they may begin to see how they are on the wrong side of things. I'm sure that is a thought that scares them; to be so enveloped in something, putting yourself out there, claiming that everyone else is a sinner and is going to hell; only to find out that YOU are the one that's wrong. Pride: One of the 7 Deadly Sins. I know too many people, myself included, that need to check themselves from time to time.

Pardon any mistakes, I'm not a professional writer. I'm just a guy speaking his mind. Thanks for reading.
