A Facebook Rant: Martial Law in Boston, MA.

I'm sharing this because you need to see the way some people think. Yes, the people of Watertown and some other places in Boston were placed under martial law. Why? There was a terrorist suspect on the loose and were trying to track the guy down. Why did the people come out and celebrate afterwards? The same reason you cheered when the president informed America that Bin Laden had been killed. The people were happy that the person was captured. They were happy that law enforcement did their job. They were happy that those responsible for bombing of a public event that cost three lives, numerous traumatic injuries, and took the life of an MIT police officer, had been taken off the streets so that they could not continue to wreak havoc. Declaring martial law was a matter of public safety. This post calls those people "stupid." I beg to differ. I think that a stupid person would go against the order to stay in your homes. A stupid person would bitch and moan about being under martial law when law enforcement is trying to keep them safe. A stupid person would believe that the government is out to get them, all the while depending greatly on that same government. Stupid people wear tinfoil hats and believe wacked out conspiracy theorist like Alex Jones. Stupid people make post like the one I'm sharing here.
